I searched around and didn't see anyone trying to do this.. has anyone done it?

After a year of using 6.34, I'm ready to migrate to 7.5.. of course the access migration method doesn't apply since I'm already in SQL...

I have 7.5 running on a clean DB, and I messed around a little bit trying to import table data etc, etc.. but with all the changes it doesn't seem to be an easy task..

At the very least I'd like to import all the users... but how can we handle the new password scheme?

Ideas?.. thanks.

Well, the first step would be to upgrade to 7.01 (see this thread for details).

Then all you have to do is make the changes to the database mentioned in the thread at the top of this forum, and you're away with Version 7.5.

Are you sure you set it to search in the message body rather than just the topic?

yeah.. but.. you know how it is.. reading through a dozen or so threads.. I updated the main thread with my results.. I should have posted here.. perhaps move it over here?
