SQL Newbie

Hi guys,

I've being playing with database for a while but never before ventured into the world of SQL. My WWforum is currently 42mb big and i'd like to upgrade to SQL because it's about time i started using it for all apps.

However, i can probably manage the upgrade following instructions but beyond that, i don't know how to proceed. With access i could easily back up (so i also have a copy) but i'm not sure i can download SQL like i would access. Should anything go wrong i wouldn't know where to begin either.

Anyhow, is there anything i need to know before upgrading? any advice, guides etc?
