This forum works great with Access, but with SQL Server it makes too many SQL server calls. Are there any plans to take advantage of MSSQLs ability to return multiple record sets via stored procedures? Currently all the stored procedures are returning one record set and that seems like an aweful waste of resources.

Not at the present time as there are more pressing things to deal with and I am very short of time as it is. I'm starting to wish I had kept the forums shut for good as I'm now loosing so much coding time to it.

Should be OK, I just get annoyed with people wasting my time by asking questions that are already answered, then if you don't display their post and answer it they have a go at you telling you you are power mad etc. like the idiot had telling me so this morning. Who by the way is no-longer a member of the forums.

lol. Just set up a forum entitled "I'm to stupid to read the docs - PLEESE HELP ME!". Farm out the moderator job. Sensitivity could be an optional job requirement/handicap.

BTW, tjamal, I have my browser set to prompt for 3rd party cookies and I get the prompt on this page for a cookie from 69.26.135.131 which appears to be your member login page at longbox.com.

Usually it's from a link to the avatar or a signature pic. I don't see his avatar, but I didn't take the cookie.

yo Bruce, why don't you just close the support forums as you said you would do and let users buy email support?

or ignore it and let us do the job

I would love to help and answer questions in the support forums, but now, as I'm not allowed to post without a mod or admin reading the post and accepting it, I feel like it's not worth it

If I get access to post directly I will try to answer questions in there every day when I have some time for it

Just don't close the forums please

BTW, this thread got really off topic!
