Hello,
 
If a person subscribes to a forum, does that mean they will be automatically notified for every reply to each topic in that forum?
 
Or will they be notified only for new topics (not the replies)?

Is there a setting that will only e-mail a person for new topics (and then they have to subscribe to receive the replies to the new topic)?

One more question regarding the unsubscribe link in a notification e-mail.
 
Say I'm subscribed to the forum, so I get notifications for every new topic and reply in that forum.
 
I notice that the unsubscribe link contains a TID and an FID. If I removed the FID from the link, would that link then just unsubscribe me from the topic (and leave my subscription to the forum intact)?
