Textarea on RTE is always centre aligned

On our forum the quick reply and full reply RTE textarea's start out being center-aligned. If you preview the text they're also centre-aligned, but when you hit post it is displayed left-aligned (which is desired).

Can anyone help point where I can fix this? I'm not sure whether I need to call some JavaScript function so that the textarea initialises left aligned or just insert some CSS (but where - I've tried inserting into RTE_textarea.asp with no joy)

Using Mattias' info at http://forums.webwiz.net/set-the-background-color-of-the-rte-texarea_topic27187_page2.html?KW=textarea

I found I can insert the following

.WebWizRTEtextarea{ text-align: left; background: #f00;}

and that happily sets the background red, but text-alignment is left stubbornly centre aligned. Can anyone else suggest anything?
