Tipics disappearing

Slowly, threads are disappearing from random tipics or sections of my forum.  Is there any built-in archive function?  I don't want them to disappear.

Check the rentention time in the admin menu, if it is set to i.e. 1 week you will not see the older posts thus they are not deleted, just select a higher time span for the forum.
