Anyhow, I'd suggest to the OP that he run his page past the W3C markup validation service - http://validator.w3.org/ - and check out how his site conforms to W3C recommendations and standards for HTML/XHTML.
Webmasters tend to get picky about things like conformance to standards. I guarantee that the first thing that many of them will do before reading the content will be to validate it to see if he knows what he's talking about.
Te webmaster news group is a good source of information that should be researched prior to offering services to webmasters.
