Anyhow, I'd suggest to the OP that he run his page past the W3C markup validation service - http://validator.w3.org/ - and check out how his site conforms to W3C recommendations and standards for HTML/XHTML.
Webmasters tend to get picky about things like conformance to standards. I guarantee that the first thing that many of them will do before reading the content will be to validate it to see if he knows what he's talking about.
