I know that in the latest version there has been added security of having to login if you are accessing the forum from different computers, but to be honest, this is extremely annoying and inconvenient.  Is there anyway to turn it off or disable it?

Sorry, not without re-writing the file login_user.asp again.

Try using an older version of this file from 7.7, or 7.7a if you have it.

holy crap that was fast.. unfortunately I don't have ver 7.7 or 7a.  What can I do?

I agree with you there, its causing our forum users a lot of grief and they are asking for it removed. I understand its for security but it it could be set as an option in future versions it would be nice..... seems pointless to downgrade the forum just to get it working.

I do understand though.

I agree, great work on the forum Borg!  It's an awesome piece of work.  But is there any way to turn it off?  Can somebody post the file from version 7.7 then?
