Topic: Pop-Up Window Cuts Off Text Posted: 25 July 2004 at 3:23am |
Hello all,
I have been using web wiz forums for almost 6months and I love it.
There is one problem that I have that I did search for but found no answer. Most of my pop-up windows are not sized/aligned correctly causing most of my text to be cut off. Does anyone else experience this? What is a solution to this problem?
thanks in advance

what DB & application versions are you using
also have you got a link so we can fully understand what you are
saying. also what do you mean cut off . what pop ups are you refering
to (profile).
to my knowlege no one else has suffered . make sure that your browser / display settings are correct.

What I mean by cut off is the text in all my pop up windows are not formated to fit the pop up window correctly. ie. My forgot password pop up is completely cut off on the right side Most of the text is "cut-off" and is not seen due to the window pop up dimensions. I experience this problem on mulitple computers, so browser settings should not the problem. Is there an easy fix for this?
If I widen the window it looks good, just seems like the header and part of the footer are not auto-adjusting to the window size like the rest of the text in that window. Hope I didnt confuse you.
Thank you

Looks like if you have tried customising the forum, eg, CSS, text sizes, tables sizes, etc. you have made them adjust to large.
If this is the case either ajust them back or you will have to edit the
file with a text editor to either change the page or change the
javascript link that passes across the dimensions of the pop up
windows.

i had the same issue using the standard access version.
but it seemed that it just took a little while for the window to refresh and change size. i think it may have been a browser issue, as after a reboot it worked fine again.
