Hi people.. i've been wondering for some time how can i do things like:

1. Count how many replies the people have done to a post or add (just like in the forums)

2. Count how many times the post have been seen.

3. Count records in a subcategory. i.e: CAT "CARS" --> SUB "TRUCKS" (count how many posts about trucks there are in the db).

Thank u so much guys. i hope u can help me .

P.S: Since im not a programer it would be nice to get some coding examples to have an idea!

Actually, that's a sub forum with other forums within it. The main forum is http://forums.webwiz.net/default.asp which lists the counts in all sub forums

The first sub-forum listed is Webwiz Forums support - which is the link I gave you. clicking on that link lists the sub-sub-forumms and their counts.

The feature is in Beta test at this site and is supposed to be released as part of the V8.0 release. 808BobRider did something similar in this thread - http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=95 81&PN=1 which I see he has running on V7.9. A search hear for sub forums would turn up more hits.
