Security concern re upload components

	I have spoken to our administrator about installing Dundas upload and he is concerned with letting anything come into the server. Is anything going to be able to come through? Are we not exposing ourselves to hackers and virus vendors? Anything to try and allay his fears would be useful. Thanks

	There is always a security risk when using upload features as write permissions must be enabled on the directory that you upload files and images to. This can be used by a hacker to hack your site and/or server.
