Hi all;

I have got 2 sugesstions for the v8.0.
  • For Users Profile : web wiz forum must be integrate http://www.onlinestatus.org/forum/usage.php service. users online status must be appear (All networks Yahoo, MSN, ICQ etc.) And visitor must see or add user's Instant Message account to him/her account.
  • For Advanced Spam Options : I am using 7.7a and my newest users become member of the Restrict Users group. When user sent 10 message, user will be member of the New Users group. But some users sent 10 (no content message) and join to New Member group. I want to prevent my users. My user must sent (X) message per day. Currently spam settings not enough for me. And Admin groups must not effect spam settings..
Please add this features to Web Wiz Guide v8.0. Thanks Borg

[Edit] : For Advanced Spam Settings, may be you can add smilar protection look like : Minumum message lenght. For example, user sent to only "Thanks". Thanks is 6 characters. Admins can set minumum message leng to (X) value. And Admins protect forum  from no content messages.

I've moved this to the suggestion forum as I tend to go through that looking for ideas when updating the applications.

For the advanced spam settings, can't you just change/add the values in the drop down lists to something you like - e.g. must wait 1 hour between submissions, not more than 5 posts a day?
Or find the place in the code where the spam settings are checked and put in special handling for certain user groups.

I want to tell another suggestion. I dont want to create a new topic for the this suggestion.

if any post include picture(s) that X width and Y height size or bigger, these pictures must display auto thumbnail picture. Administrators can set to max X and max Y properties on the admin panel.

Some pictures are very big. For this reason, forum posts display very bad. However, if big pictures display as thumbnail, layout dont be dirty. My english very bad, but i think you understand me.

This suggestion may be require modificaton on the DB, but when do you accept this suggesiton, you can prepare a tutorial for the old db modification. This suggestion very important. I want to give a bad display example from my forum :

Rather then having thumbnails I think the forum should make use of inline images (maybe that is what you actuall mean). So pics over a certain size automatically scale down to a set size and can then be clicked to see the full version in a new window or so.
