I am using WWF 7.9 and recently I discovered that some of the thread posted by Guests were deleted.  The log file showed something like this:

I tested by creating a post by Guest and using the direct URL forum/delete_post.asp... and was able to delete the post.
 
Does anyone else experiencing this problem or is this a known issue discussed before?  What do I need to do to correct this problem?  Thank you.

it hasn't been discussed.. but will have to be looked into.... i think there are permssions within the forum to make sure these things can't be done.

Make sure you haven't created permssions for the Guest member group to delete posts or defaukt foum permissions are set to 'Everybody' to delete.

If you have this is the problem.

Thanks for the reply, boRg.  I've checked the permissions and yes some of the forums allowed All users to delete.  I've changed them to Register Users and will keep an eye on things.
