Active Topics Bug??

When I have passworded a particular forum, and made it hidden to everyone that cant access, the posts still come up in the active topics.

Is this expected, or something that could be changed??

Have found a fix for it.

Add

" & strDbTable & "Forum.Hide,

to line 257 of active_topics.asp where it does the select statement.

Then on line 339 (just below the variables, add the following

blnForumHide = CBool(rsForum("Hide"))
If blnForumHide Then Exit For

This fixes the issue if you dont want hidden forums showing up there.

I just installed 7.01 and noticed that Active Topics shows the name of all active topics, even if the user doesn't have access to the topic.

I tried your fix, but now Active Topics don't show for anyone.

I hope there is a fix for 7.01 and I hope that 7.02 has it. Does anyone know how to fix this.

Oh, by the way, great forum.

I've already made a mod for the active topics (and search page) where the grouppermissions are taken into account.
