Is there a way I can restrict some parts of my web page from being printed? For instance I am generating some reports and do not want buttons on the report page to be printed.
Thanks.

generate a printer friendly version of the pages. Ie, have a popup to a link which has exactly the same details on it as the report, but without the interface buttons.

other than that, there may be some kind of printer ignore tags, but i don't know of any...

Hey thanks,
But I do not want to develop a separate printer friendly page because there are a number of such reports and it will take a lot of effort to do so...which I want to avoidEmbarrassed

I'm affraid as far as I know that's not possible...

Seperate printer friendly page is the way to go, you can make it automated if there is some pattern to what you want to block.
