I think some people just have issues with user friendlyness and looks, but the issue isn't about browsers that support it anymore I think.

Not all browser support them properly, issues with confused users can occur as well. Also people suffering disabilities will really hate them (section 508 in the UK states that you should bear these people in mind and make your page valid at least) anyways, I personally don't like them at all and never needed them.

I think most browsers versions put out over the past 18 months or so support them (not Lynx - lol).
 
Personally, apart from a couple of scroll bar issues that caused me to reposition or to resize text, an html div with a little css and an asp include will cover most things I'd use an iframe for,

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
