Well, I renstalled my Exchange 2000 server and only went to Service Pack 2... and all is well.
However, I can't be the only one out there using Exchange 2000. The permissions problem on the SMTP service is only going to get "worse" for certain open coding. (Relatively speaking - better security, especially in a Microsoft setting, is a good thing.)
Will the coding changes suggested in the above Microsoft knowledge base be included in Version 7? Maybe a script or button to select "Are you talking to an Exchange server" to better customise CDONTS behavior under these new restrictions?
Thanks!
