ASP dont run on my PC

I am using Windows 2000 Prof and install the IIS, when I type the localhost at the browser, it displayed the welcome screen.

But my problem is that, when i open an ASP pages on the browser the entire code of the ASP was displayed rather than displaying or executing the script.

What should I do? I uninstall the IIS and re-install it again, but still the same problem, please help me.

Are you trying to open the asp pages as file://... or as http://localhost/mypage.asp ?
Double-clicking on a .asp file in file manager will only open it for editing/text viewing - it won't actually run the script in your browser.
