i really wish that for every bug discovered, M$ returned a dollar to their software lisense holders, now im not such a big fan of open source but atleast "hey it was free"

Can you imagine that. They would end up paying us three times more than the software originally went for retail by now. LOL

IMHO open source is not yet perfect. However there are quite a few things that are done better in Linux than in Windows.

Vista is the last version of Windows I plan to use

do you think deleting SHIMGVW.DLL might do the trick? At least for the time being?
