They are certainly not shy about plugging those that they like, and
even less shy when it comes to lambasting those that they don't like.
There's certainly no love lost for Microsoft at The Register. "We even had to fire up a Windows box..." is pretty normal fare.
But I certainly hope that they never stop putting the really important
news right up front - you know - the black helicopter stuff...
It's just so refreshing to read compared to the garbage reporting you
get elsewhere. They at least have an opinion and make sure that you
know their position. Other journalists report a slanted article without
letting you know. There's something to be said for the honesty you get
at The Register.
