DB Error after Compacting & Repair

This is so strange.  While waiting for a response, I went out and did errands, came back and now my board is working again.

I didn't do anything to it after I posted this problem.

I think I am in the Twilight Zone.

First of all I think what happened was I after I activated the compact and repair, I went to a page.  I hadn't given it enough time to do it's thing.

And I have to giggle, because Bruce you are determined to get me to upgrade to the new V8.  Is this the final version that is ready for download now?
I kinda want to wait until all the bugs are worked out.  It took me over a year to upgrade to 7.97!

I host with godaddy, and I haven't really looked at , but I know they offer me 10 sql databases with my hosting plan.  So yesterday I was looking on here trying to find out how to switch over to that instead of access, but the search on the site wouldn't let me kept getting the message "one of your querys is 3 characters or less"

So if there is a good thread that shows the step by step migration to sql, can someone point it out for me.  I am thinking I would like to try it.

OK I just checked out my hosting at godaddy.  They offer all 3.  Access, mySQL and SQL.

Which one do I want?
