I am thinking I might convert my forum to SQL for a few reasons.
1. Faster responses
2. Security
3. Possibly of a lot more users registering soon.
 
I am wondering as I haven't made any modifications to the database area of the coding can I download the SQL version, Install SQL and convert my old database with Access 2003 and using the Upsizing Wizard. Will all the tables convert and do I convert them all in any particular sequence.
 
What I'm saying is there a trick to doing this conversion
 
All of this converting will be done on a development machine so it doesn't corrupt any of my live data untill I get it working correctly.
 
Any suggestions?

The upsize wizard in Access is the best way, but it not the most reliable tool in the world.

Many users have done this and found different ways that work and don't work for them. If you do a search of this and the version 7 forum you should find a number of posts people have made on how they have accomplished this.

I did see that post but wasn't sure if it was relevant as I wasn't upgrading from v7 to v8.01. I will try it out though.
 
I will probably only have about 60-70 people on it but I am hosting it from my home adsl so speed and security is the essence.
