Smitfraud - how to clean it?

Hey guys,
 
one of my friends got this "smitfraud" in his computer, I've tried to clena this but it's impossible....
 
I've tried a Xoftspy 4.22 to clean it... I can find it delet it but it's always come back. I've deleted the registry key fot it to, but it's coming back all the time... if anyone knows how to do it, or where I can get more informations or anything I would be glad to hear it...
 
about smitfraud
This application is a browser hijacker, a program that points your Web browser to specific websites, sets your homepage to something other than the one you’ve chosen, or captures keystrokes and information that you enter into a Web browser. In addition to hijacking the user’s browser, Smitfraud changes the desktop to display a false error message. Smitfraud may also display pop-up ads.

Use a couple of different spyware removers... they don't all catch the same things or clean up the same way. also, after you kill it, get rid of all cookies, browsaer history, and cache,

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

That software is pratically unheard of.

Run a scan with Windows Defender, Ad-aware or Spybot Search and Destroy

disable windows system restore..its a safe haven for viruses and spyware

thnx for the tips guys, but I've delleted it using the regedit... i remove all lines about it and after deleted all files about it.
