mySQL error: Invalid connection string

I have (finally) install mySQL 5.0.21 server and ODBC 3.51.12, created new database, run file mySQL_server_setup.asp and created tables successfully, but when I start forum I get this error:

 
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while connecting to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_db_connection
File Name:- common.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Invalid connection string attribute
 

As I can’t read line where this error is, I need help!

This is a problem connecting to the database.

The problem looks like you have entered the incorrect connection details into the database connection file.

I have found out why I got error, it seems that the wrong SQL database was selected, instead of mySQL it was set to SQLserver... Don’t know how this occurred as I have downloaded mySQL version...

I have just checked and the mySQL version is correctly set to mySQL as the database type.
