Is ther any way to make the posts in the forum go in alphabetical order rather than chronological?

Look for an "ORDER BY" and change it in the code. Should work ok.

No, you're looking for forum_topics.asp, and changing the SQL that grabs the topic list to ORDER BY post name instead.

And you've posted in the wrong forum.

No answer in mods forum. i opened the forum_topics.asp in a text editor and found this :-
 
strSQL = strSQL & "ORDER BY " & strDbTable & "Thread.Message_date ASC;"
 
However i haven't a clue what to put instead of message date!! Can anyone help?Thanks

Ok,had a play and it worked!! I changed it to :-
 
strSQL = strSQL & "ORDER BY " & strDbTable & "Topic.Priority DESC, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Subject ASC;"
 
Will this apply to all forum posts?
