Need help with godaddy.com windows server

	I have been trying to set up the Web Wiz Forums BBS on a GoDaddy.com windows shared server and it doesn't work because godaddy says "We are currently running the 4.0.24 version of MySQL on all of our shared hosting servers." and they have no intention of upgrading. Does anyone have an older version of WWF that will work? Apparently the syntax is sufficiently different so that WWF won't work if they are not runnig Version 4.1. Thanks. Rick

	Older versions (before 8.x) did not support MySQL databases at all. A lot of problems with godaddy get posted on these forums everyday and i would advise trying a diffrent host. Also you could use either a MSSQL database or an Access database version instead of MySQL. I would advise MSSQL as it's far far more robust than Access.

	The current version is the only one that supports MySQL and it requires 4.1. Older version only supported MS Access and MSSQL.
