I am just starting to study for the 70-315 exam using the study book by Amit Kalani, when I am trying the first step by step example(Creating an ASP page) when I try to create a new empty web project in visual studio 2003 I get this message
 
"Visual Studio.NET has detected that the specified Web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET Web applications or services"
 
The location of the project is specified as "http//localhost/315c01"

navigate to c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322\
run the following command
aspnet_regiis -i
 
the version in the path might be slightly different depending on SP version or so.

Just wondering why your bothering with .net 1.1? Why not just jump to 2.0 as most coding these days uses 2.0 / 3.5?
