Sender address is not valid for your login. Check your email program
settings.
I've not looked into it deeper, such as sending a message to myself as a test.....

Thoughts?

This is a problem sending emails.

The mail server you are using is rejecting the email because the senders address is not valid for the SMTP server login you are using.

Contact the SMTP server admin and ask them what settings are required for you to send emails from your web site.

We are sort of wondering if it was a fluke, or our moderator was trying something funky, as a few others have said "gee, it's working fine for me" but I'm checking and double-checking all just to be sure. I'm having folks test it, and have asked our host to please double-check my work for me to be sure.
Everyone is so impressed with the SPEED of this thing!

I would think looking at the error message is that your host requires you to send from a local email address for you to be able to authenticate against the SMTP server so it will relay on the email.

Check with your SMTP server admin want type of authentication is required and if the sender address needs to be a local one in order for it to authenticate.
