Hi
 
I have just upgraded my forum sort of successfully! When i go to the main default.asp page i get the folloiwng error:
 
Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a005e'

Invalid use of Null: 'CLng'

/forum/Default.asp, line 501

I then displays the first line of the forums but then nothing else. like this:
 
The time now is 09:42
You last visited Today at 09:34

The second problem is that when i log in it takes me to a page that doesnt exist:
 
forum/forum_topics.asp/forum?returnURL=
 
Any thoughts?

The problem was that one of the fields was not populated after the update, I have now added some error handling into the forum engine so that it won't crash if this happens to anyone else.

If you go to:-

Admin Control Panel -> Forum Tools -> Resync Post and Topic Count

 it will fix the issue in your forum as it will populate the database correctly for you.

I have visited my forums and was diaplsyed the lock pages which is correct BUT when on the page it keeps refreshing its self as though it is trying to keep on redirect its self to the forums closed page and just keeps looping and crashes ie7?

This issue when the forums are locked in IE has been fixed for the next version.

It was due to the AJAX files that kept reloading if the forums are locked, Firefox would eventually timeout, but IE would keep going till it crashed.
