We recently upgraded to the premium edition of the Web Wiz Forums.
Our forums are internal-only. I would like to be able to "wildcard" the file types, as opposed to manually listing file types to allow. Even better would be if there was a whitelist and a blacklist to make it easier to configure.
I only added a few file types, and I'm already out of room...

Also, the 2000K limit is not enough. We have Word docs bigger than that, hehe...

I also tried uploading a 1.37MB doc file and got an error. Basically it sat for about a minute. My connection icon near the Windows clocked shows nothing being sent.
After a minute, I get the error message:
"Error uploading file!! The file uploaded is of the wrong type"
This is followed by a list of allowed types, of which doc is included.
We are using the Dundas upload component. Is there a way to test if this is working?

It doesn't stop there...
I used a very small text file to test if uploading worked at all, and it does. I did this by using the "edit post" option, then adding the file. I chose NOT to upload the file, but it is still in my File Manager. When I try to "delete" the file, it will not delete.

Not sure about the other things, but there is no way around the 2MB upload limit. You can't http anything larger than that, you will have to ftp it. I think its a microsoft limit in IIS or something.
I also can't upload anything either. I get a mess of errors and it hasn't worked for me since day one. Kinda gave up on it and hope that no one asks about it lol

I run my own website at home. There is no "2MB IIS" limit. I use a PHP upload script. I have the timeout set high, and have zero issues, even with 100MB+ uploads from across country. That is how me and my family share pictures and videos.
If the developers of these forums chose a 2MB limit for a reason, it's not IIS...

This forum is coded in ASP. How are you using a php upload script? Try Huge ASP file upload... you get 2GB limit :)
