Isn't it a feature of WWF?

I think this can simply be done via the admin CP. Why would you need to password protect it if only for admin? just give access to admin only in group perms.

perhaps i described the false way:
I need a mod, that the administrator group is allowed to see password protected forums without to know the password.

this can't be done by giving the group all rights to the forum

you would need to alter a few files such as forum_topics.asp, forum_posts.asp and edit and delete etc

You would need need to do:

if admin then
    permission = true
else
   *exisiting permissions*
end if

This would be very complicated to do, but i do agree that admins should not have to enter the password.

As a side note: only admins can set the password, so theoretically you should already know the password.
