Hi

 

Using v7.92 when folk watch topics they do get an email which includes the following text

 

To view and/or reply to the post then click on the link below : -

 

Problem is there is never a link ?, is this a config issue that ive missed ?

 

I appreciate that upgrading will probably fix this and indeed will be upgrading soon, I would just prefer it all to be working properly first (hope that makes sense)

Version 7.92 is so old now that it would be best just to upgrade to the latest version. You would have to run the database upgrade tools however before you run the newer version, otherwise you will certainly corrupt your existing database

I would assume however that if there is no link, it would be something to do with your email settings in your admin panel

It could be a bug in 7.92.

However as it is over 5 years old to be able to check would mean going through around 5,000 changes since then.

The whole forum engine was re-written for version 8 to improve security, performance, searching, etc.
