quick reply and reply backgrounds

Did a forum upgrade this AM - well, Bruce did.
Now the topic reply and quick reply show the dark blue for a background same as the rest of the forum;
It was a light or near-white before the upgrade.
I can't recall WHERE and WHAT FILE I used in the past to get around this - to assign a light background.
You can imagine attempt to create, edit a post or reply to a post and having the text area dark blue with black text! We want black text, but a background like what I'm typiing right now.
Gee, I need to DOCUMENT this better!
I've done a search here, yes, thought this would be easy and I'd find the answer already here in 20 seconds. Sorry.
