I downloaded two of the MODs that I felt would be helpful for me on my forum. I looked over the ReadMe files and also the contents of each MOD.

My question is this: Each MOD contains a Default.asp page and the instructions are to install this page on my forum. Now there already is a Default.asp page that will be overwritten, this I understand.

But, these two MOD Default.asp pages are different, so installing them would cause one to overwrite the other. Am I to combine them? If so is there duplicate information then and should it be removed?

I just want to do a clean install is all.

Thanks,
Walt

The best way is to examine each page, and take the mods from the pages and add them manually into your own default.asp file

Thanks, MrTWS, I'll use BeyondCompare to see what the differences are between all the pages.

I will assume you are referring to my modifications since you PM'd me about them previously....

If you are refering to my modifications, then the question would of been best posted on [url=http://www.s2h.co.uk/forum/default.asp]my support forum[/url.

My website has which modifications are compatible with each other.

But as TWS has said, you would need to merge the two conflicting files, this shouldnt be to difficult as my modifications are well documented as to where each change start and ends on within the page.
