I am really excited about upgrading to the 7.xx version but I am having some difficulty, probably an obvious oversight on my part.
I have installed/reinstalled three times to try to work this out. I unzip the new files to the directory, edit the config.asp to point to the db, run the db conversion program and place the db in the right location and change it to the correct name.
- I cannot login using the old admin name/pw as set up in the original forum. I use the administrator/letmein combo and it lets me in but when I click "admin" I get:
Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page.
- The forum listing shows a zero count for all forums until you go in and enter a new topic. The topics do show the proper counts.
These are but a couple of the problems I am encountering. Please let me know if there is an obvious solution here.
