I can not get ASPupload to work with the forum. ASPupload works with samples, but when I turn on in the forum it jumps to a bad link, and nothing happens. I have windows 2000 server with MS sql. I am hosting it on my computer.
1. Installed ASPupload beta version just to see if it will work before purchasing it 2. Restarted IS 3. Tested using samples in sample directory, but shows upload to memory, but says good 4. Turn on Uploading in Admin of forum 5. When uploading I go to a blank page, but with error.

Error
Type:
Persits.Upload.1 (0x800A0005) The system cannot find the file
specified.
/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 166
this is my error message. I have the permission set to read and write. I gave the whole site read and write permission just say everything has permission now, and change later to just Upload directory.

The upload tools work, many 1,000's of people use them with out any issue.
The error that you get is a permissions error from the AspUpload component. Contact AspUpload support as they will more likely be able to point you in the right direction as to what permissions to set to get it to work.

I figured it out thanks. I have version 9 of the forum that I bought more then a year ago. I can not see too many enhancements to change over. Can you tell me what's big improvements that might be interesting to upgrade in future?
