Multiple RSS Updates?

For some reason in 10.01 I am getting multiple updates of the same RSS feeds even though I delete them in my email client. RSS is how I keep up-to-date with my Forum rather receiving new emails every five seconds when a new topic/thread is posted.

I am not sure whether this is specific to me or to 10.01 ... has anyone else experienced this weird behaviour?

It's as if a couple of posts have gone into a loop in the RSS feed and don't want to go away!

All RSS Clients behave in different ways so why yours is miss behaving would be hard to say.

It maybe that it's not matching up what it has in it's cache with what it is now seeing in the updated RSS Feed.

The only way to know would be to clear out your RSS Cache and see if then updates correctly.

OK. I'm using MS Outlook 10!

I deleted the RSS feed and then re-subscribed from the forum. Seems to be behaving so far ... Thumbs Up

If you are using the URL Rewriting you may need to do the same for the next updated to 10.02 as some changes have been made to the RSS Feeds for the next release to improve the links and also fix an issue with Safari's RSS Reader.
