    Posted: 15 July 2011 at 6:32pm
When clicking the small link in the parenthesis after the thread name that says "# new posts", I'm always sent to the same spot that I first clicked that link. Threads continue to grow to multiple pages, but this link always sends me about 3/4 of the way down the first page of posts.

I've cleared cookies, logged-in again. Tried multiple browsers and different PCs. This happens on most threads.

I think that "get_last_post.asp" is returning the wrong last post.

I'm on v10.01.

Any known issues?

It's exactly the same problem using the V10 built in latest posts option at the bottom of the forums (if activated) - This I assume is using the same asp file as above.

The New Posts yellow arrow should take you to the first unread posts within the topic, if there are no unread posts then it will take you to the last post within the topic. This functionality and the way it works has not changed in version 10.

Have tested this in the lab and a few large live forums and can not find an issue.

We are also having this problem, it tends to link to the last post on the first page rather than the last post overall. Although it can be more indiscriminate than that and link to the end of page 2 or 7 etc. Any ideas on a fix or solution?

Have you switched the order of posts to be displayed in reverse?

No left it as it was, running V.10 if that helps.

Not able to replicate this in the lab.

If you have support then create a support ticket in your Client Area account with your forums details and admin login and will look in to this issue for you.
