Got a couple of problems

Latest Forum Posts problem in my forum I have borders around everything like the picture below, but for some reason the Latest Forum Posts background stays gray.
 
 
 

My other problem is with the main page the last post Colum is a different size, it looks very uneven never had this with my old one.

Also when I click to open the chat room it opens in a small window
