I have taken over administration of a Web Wiz Forum version 7.7
 
In the past a previous Administrator has disabled the ability for members to access the Member Control Panel so that they can administer their own accounts.
 
There is no link on the main forum and if you try to access it through the help section (there is a hyperlink to it there) you are taken back to the main forum page.
 
Any help enabling me to restore this function will be appreciated. Clap

It would be impossible to tell you how to fix it as we have no idea of how it was disabled in the first place.

It could be as simple as a redirect in the file, removing it would fix it. Or it could be as bad as the file has been replaced.

Since it is v7, which is extremely old, I do not think there would be any copies of the file laying around anywhere. And I am sure as soon as Bruce (the developer) sees this he will strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version (10) as there has been countless bug fixes, security improvements and additional features.

So for security alone, I would suggest you look at upgrading to the latest version. (Which additionally would fix your issue)

There was no 'Member Control Panel' in version 7.

To have this feature you would need to upgrade to version 10.
