Question:  I have just registered myself as a newbie and go to Administrator and activated this newbie.

When I first login as a newbie and created a new post and posted the 1st message, the above spam notice appeared.  How to disable or control the spam notice?

Did you post under any other accounts?

I cannot remember how spam controls works, but it could potentially work off Cookies, so any posts you created under other accounts may count towards your spam limit.

You can check how many posts within a time frame your users can create by going to the Admin section of the site. It should be self explanatory from there.
