Expanding/collapsing forum names

Is their anyway to collapse the forum name titles?

 

I have heaps of forums and will have hundreds more before I finished. I dont want people to have to scroll down through lots of forums to get to the one they want to view.

 

Also, will heaps of different forums slow teh database down?
