Web Wiz Forums v7.01
TIP: Include image with forum description.
Here is something I thought was pretty neat. I don't know if anyone else has thought of doing this but, to see what I am talking about go to http://www.sjsc.ca and click the Discussion Forums link. Notice the ISkate logo at the bottom of the forums list.
I wanted to associate one of my forums with the logo of a product I am deveoping, so I added some HTML code in the Forum Description on the Forums Admin page.
In the description field I put:
<img src=./forum_images/iskate.gif hspace=2 vspace=2 align=left width=143 height=40>Discussion about the iSkate Music System - Locked until further notice.
You may have noticed that I did not put quotes around the attributes. I know the new HTML standards say quoting is necessary to ensure future compatibility, but I left them out anyway. Most browsers, if not all will be fine. I tested with Netscape 4.78 and MSIE 5.5.
You can put the quotes in and it will still work, however, when the admin page displays the field, it will be messed up. Try it with quotes to see what I mean. Perhaps boRg can have a look at it.
