How can i fix Ultra Edit to show correct syntax highlighting for ASp pages.. I have selected syntax highlighting scheme as Visual Basic from the UE configuration and it still shows the VB Script code in green colour where as HTML syntax hyghlighting is perfect

MadDog, this is the General Section, and a lot of us either use it or have used it... Seems like a pretty simple general question.

Boss, There are several different highlight "add-ins" for Ultra Edit. Try a different one. Not all are created equal. Also look for a VBScript one if the ASP ones dont' work well.

I checked out the hipertoolsvb.txt one and it seems ok. (I use EditPlus more than UltraEdit...)

Also, try clicking View --> View As and then selecting the one you want.

its just bring up every thing in black which is dominated followed by integers in red and some other stuff in green.. i downloaded the word file fromthe ulra edit website and still the same problem..anyway i dont care now.. im not using it anymore ..thankz for help..
