I could not find the definitions of the four different member status (guest, standard, gold, planinum).  What do they mean?  Thanks

They where just 3 different groups that you could use for forum permissions in old versions of the forum but have been scrapped along time ago and in the present version you can have unlimited groups.

I like to know how I can add custom groups or rename Platinum Members to something else.. is that possible?

Not in version 6x but it is in version 7. It might be possible through the databse
