We have just started using MSN Messenger on our intranet as [yet] another medium for communication.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience and/or urls for integrating Messenger with asp (using API?). I have searched Google, but have yet to come up with anything of real quality.

trying searching with active x to integrate messenger (thats all i know of)
If anything takes long to do its worth doing.

You will have to make a component to intergrate with MSN messenger...

Looks good except.....

1) It is based on .net (I am still stuck in the world of 'classic' asp)

2) There are issues with the likes of displaying contact names whereby everyone is listed as 'undefined'. This is something that the developer acknowledges and points out that it is a Microsoft issue.

So, it looks like it is not yet possible to deploy fully functional web based messenger applications
