I have two problems

First, the stored procedure 'wwfSpDBinfo' will not be made on the server.
I tryed several times but...is this a known problem?

Second, When somebody post a message with a file and the message is deleted, the file will stay on the server. Is there a way to delete the orphan files automaticly or do I have to think hard and script this myself?

Thanx for making such a good bulletin board!

I have found the same problem.

Are you using SQL7?

The reason I say this is because "ServerProperty" which is included in the stored procedure is new in SQL2000, even though some of the documentation I have seen says it is in SQL7.

I don't know if you can simply remove this from the DBInfo stored procedure for SQL7 compatability. Does anybody else know this?

Cheers

Tabbs

This stored procedure is crucial to the running of the board so don't worry about it. You will just loose the SQL server statistics bit found in the admin area, but this is just there as a gimic type thing anyway so isn't actual needed for anything.

Files aren't connected to posts so won't be deleted when posts are deleted.

This is why in version 7.5 files and images are stored in folders using the members name this should help a little in tracking whos uploaded what.
