I have set myself up as an Admin in t 7.7 Forum.

In previous incarnations I got an e-mail every time a user posted, but with this new application I dont.

Can anyome shed any light on this please.

In addition - is there a users manual as the "permissions" and "private groups" facilities are confusing my simple mind

In the forum you have a 'Watch this forum for posts' link at the bottom to get email notification.

There are no manuals but read through the notes on the pages it's simple enough.

You have generic forum permisisons when setting up the forum that are overridden by group permissions that can be set on a forum.

Maddog 7.7 is a mistake,(or didnt that occur to you)  sorry I didnt realise you had to be infallible here.
