Topic: What is most important for a site? Posted: 24 November 2003 at 8:51am |
Of course content is always king, but other than that, what do you think is most important for a successful web site?
e.g. eslcafe.com is a crappy site, but is VERY popular many sites look very nice, but are difficult to use some sites have great content, but are tough to find some sites crash your browser
The list goes on...

Its great for a technician to have a great backend, but the punter on the street doesnt give a damn. For your audience, next to content design is the most important thing. (IMO)

I find site most attractice when the information I want is easy to find. Design is 2nd but I hate sites where my search returns the most stupid results.

It's kind of hard to say because in a good site design, all aspects are tied in together... so i would say that you either do it right...or you do it wrong.
