When attempting to load personal avatars I get the following prompt:

"Images must be of the type, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, and have a maximum file size of 250KB" but I know the images are well within the parameters and have confirmed that SA Filup is installed on the server.

Any help would be appreciated.

Clarification: It's actually not a promt, but the upload box appears empty and nothing appears as loaded.

I can via FTP view the folders created in the uploads folder on the server and see the images are there but they don't display in the profile or on forum posts.

Just curious as to if anyone has the avatar upload working in 7.9. It appears though the file is loaded in the folder created for the user in the uploads folder on the server but that the path isn't recognized in the forum pages.

Thanks again for looking, Duval

If you right-click on where the avatar is supposed to be and view properties, does the path look valid?

Dpyers, I wasn't getting any path and then created a new user and it worked just fine. My apologies for the confusion and appreciation for your reply.

It just looks like a severe case of "newbulations" (newbie tribulations)

lol - For some of us, it's a permanent condition. I still keep forgetting to hit the "Update" button on the admin pages.
